26 years after the worst experience of my life at Lake Powell, I finally went back with my family (son Riley, daughters Sarah, Brenna and Kelsey and my darling hubby Ed) and friends (Karl and Wendy Bolton) and had the best time ever!
The first picture is of my dear, sweet husband building our pergola. He has quite a sense of humor, as you tell. You should actually see the pink sweatband he wears to work; Olivia look out!
The second picture is again of my husband. He is "steering" our daughter on the jet ski. (We do have a lot of fun!)
And last, no summer is complete without cherry pie. My then 10 year old son loves to bake and this is one of his favorite recipes outside of homemade bread.
This shot was taken a couple of weeks ago in my backyard. My cousins from Arkansas came down to visit their favorite Texas cousins! We were in the pool cutting up and being silly when we all tried to gather for a group photo op. This is the moment when my brother (aka, tennis raquet head) said something that embarrassed Arky Cousin on the far left! This moment is now captured forever and I absolutely love it! I just wish I could remember what he said.
It was July 4th 2009 and it was Danielles first 4th of July that she actually knew what was going on. In this pic Idont think she looks too happy she had just fallen and broke her tooth poor kid.
We vacation in Door County,Wisconsin on Kangaroo Lake. In the evening we like to kayak in the bayou . This is a picture of my daughter Alex.
