I have a friend who misuses words all the time. When she was speaking on gardening, she told me that I shouldn't plant a particular plant because it was too "evasive." Does that mean the plant would run away from the other ones? When speaking of an man who was not pretentious, she said, "He would speak to you about something without any condensation whatsoever."
