As a 17 yr.survivor of Fibromyalgia and CFIDS, I want to create a space in which those of you who suffer may find a place to share ideas, products or techniques which have helped to improve your life and most of all a place to talk and share hope.

Okay - that was one of the most hysterical stories EVER!!! Bonnie is such an amaing storyteller -
Especially the part about the poison control guy asking how she felt & her response "like an a**!!"
I told the story to my sister over the phone & ...
My ears perked up at Don's voice - normally I zip past commercials...glad I caught that one!

First pic: These are shots from Halloween, 2000. The tattoos are fake (so's the hair LOL) and I've never been on a bike but I do wear the HD boots, etc just cuz they're cool & pretty darn comfy (& I used to sell their boots);
Second pic: We have an artificial tree just outside our front door in a sheltered private courtyard. For about four years, Robin Red Breast has nested & laid eggs in it! These four babies in particular are a reminder that life goes on...they were born just after my father died at home of Stomach Cancer & Alzheimer's May, 2007;

Thanks for the comment. Yes, the ribbon is for autism awareness. My two sons have autism. But they are as sweet as can be. I have lupus and other probs..and life can suck sometimes, thats for sure. But we do the best we can and take it one day at a time. :) Happy Thanksgiving to you and God Bless.

Thank you for your kind words. You are the hero in your Mother's life. What privilege it is to care for someone you love and who loves you. I too cared for both my parents before they died. I would not change 1 thing about both experiences. I learned so much about my Mom and Dad and about myself. You are given a gift Mary. A gift of time. If you can, talk about your love for each other ask our Mom about her needs and wants. Advocate for her in her life and even after she passes on. This will bring you peace even when your heart is aching. The caregiver has the hardest job but it is the most rewarding. May God hold you and your Mom in the palm of His hand.

At least ur only Tech retarded - I'm just retarded - lol - that's what my children say......
If ur getting a tattoo, get one cuz it means something to u not cuz u want to cover ur beauty marks, those come from a higher being & were placed there for a reason.
I care for my g-pa - he only had 2 sons - about 4yrs ago, my father died, then 11mos later my uncle followed so I decided to completely renovate his house (1/4 mill $$), leave the police department, take him out of the nursing home & make a go at it - he loves being home & his diabetes is easier to control now.
I have become a hermit but after being employeed since I was 14, I LOVE being home 24/7 (except I won't ever meet a man like this lol). I usually DVR Bonnie & watch it over n over - she's hilarious. I am glad that we became friends & it is thanks to her - she doesn't even know her own power.
So what kind of music did you grow up with? I "say" that I grew up with Heavy Metal but that's not completely true - I "listened" to Heavy Metal, I "Grew up" with Motley Crue. We seemed to go through the same things in life at the same times...& to this day we are in synch - they've become fathers, husbands & charity founders (which I give Religously to - "Running Wild in the Night") - when I use to look up to them for their debauchery, I now respect them for the way they've overcome all the temptaions & demons that once ruled them - I just can't say enough about my boys!!!!!!

You must've read the tattoo conversation that we are having in the Forums right now - Peoples beauty shines through their soul. Girl, I try to be fun - I'm an old HEAVY METAL MAMA - lol - I've been discriminated alot for my love of Motley Crue in the past 25-30yrs but that's other peoples problem - that's also why I would LOVE to go to CA - I want to walk the streets that my boys grew up in. You sound like a beautiful person - hope that you accept my "friends invite" & that we can be pen pals. (I can't go to CA anytime soon, I care for a disabled, elderly family member & family has always been my priority, but I can dream about being there for now) Pz

- Love ur story - can relate - I'm in a historical district of San Antonio (about a 5 min drive from downtown) - it always seems that when u get all dolled up & think u look decent u never see anybody that u know (or would care 2 know), but the sec that the make-up comes off & the hair gets pushed up into a baseball cap u run into the people that want 2 b ur friend 4 life - I look at it this way - they've seen u at ur worst - it can't POSSIBLY go downhill from there - lol
