Sample menus for the Bonnie Hunt Eating Plan

As promised, here are some of my sample menus from my journal for the eating plan.

Breakfast: 2 flaxseed waffles, 1/2 nonfat greek yogurt, raspberries 260 calories
Snack #1: Whole grain english muffin, 1 T peanut butter, 1 banana 350 calories
Lunch: Homemade shrimp salad (shrimp, mustard, olive oil mayo, celery, spices) 225 calories
Snack #2 Small spinich salad with 1 cooked egg white 100 calories
Dinner: I turkey burger with whole grain bun, veggies and sliced tomatoes 330 calories

Lost 19 Pounds my first month on Bonnie's eating plan!

I'm totally amazed by my success with Bonnie's eating plan. I started on September 30th, 2009 and weighed 202 pounds and here we are on October 31 and I weighed in this morning at 183----for a total of 19 pounds the first month!

I am counting calories (no more than 1500 each day) and walk at least 30 minutes each day. No fancy gym membership required! I do Wii Fit exercises a couple days a week and use hand weights and stretching exercises during TV commercials. I only use 100% whole grain tort… Continue

Success with the Bonnie Hunt Eating Plan

I started the eating plan on September 30th and have lost 12 pounds so far! Keys to my success:

1. KEEP HOUSE STOCKED WITH ACCESSIBLE PREPPED FOODS
When you don't have a lot of cooking time, you need to stock your freezer and pantry with plenty of tools to use to easily prepare your healthy meals. I plan my weekly meals on Sunday, shop, then prep all food for week. I make my kids assist ---and they are starting to ask to have some of my snacks and meals, which is great!
